These two wines have in common the semi-aromaticity of the grape variety: Muller Thurgau on the one hand and Chenin Blanc on the other.

When vinified skilfully, result in vibrant wines with pungent minerality. Both age with class and will give you great satisfaction even after many years.

However, if you can’t resist and uncork them immediately, you won’t have any nasty surprises because they are immediately expressive. Undoubtedly, Chenin Blanc has some ‘pungency’ that Muller does not, but they will undergo an inverse process.

The former will become smoother with age, the latter exactly the opposite.

A good reason to put them both in the cellar
